Liz is amazing! Just amazing! I have never coloured my hair before and I was so skeptical about getting it done in an unknown place. I’ve gone to this salon a number of times and I was always very happy with my cut and colour. The ladies here are so funny and sweet. They take their time examining your hair and decide what will work best for your hair type and face shape. They are also very patient and kind, which is good since I know I can be somewhat difficult since I know I am very indecisive. For whatever reason I recently ventured and tried a different salon which ended in a horrible cut and colour. I had to go back to Momo! I was a bit embarrassed because I felt like I cheated on my salon. But the ladies were so sweet, they fixed my terrible balayage and I could not be happier. I will definitely stay with Momo from here on end. The only thing I would say is that when they work on your hair, they all work as a team. So, one lady will wash, another will colour with some help, Liz will cut. So, they do take a long time, so when making an appointment give yourself a lot of time. Overall, after years of searching for a salon I’ve finally found mine 🙂
I highly recommend MoMo’s hair salon. My daughter got her black hair transformed into a gorgeous Ash Khaki with hint of Grey color, just the way she wanted. I was worried about hair damage after multiple bleaching steps, but the result was amazing as they used good product that is less damaging to hair. Liz and her Experienced staff really listen to the customers and works very hard to provide the best service and result. The location was easy to find, steps away from Eglinton subway station, welcoming atmosphere, experienced staff, and the great result!
It was my first time that I tried this salon and I can assure you that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Liz is so kind and friendly and didn’t hesitate to answer all the questions I had. I wanted to dye my jet-black hair and my goal was to completely change since I was bored of having the same colour for so long. I had a consultation with her so that we could talk about all the details including the hair colours that would suit me and my skin tone the best as well as the pricing. I had no idea of what colour to choose but she helped me to find the right colour. I went to her salon the next day and got my hair dyed and even though I’ve had it for 1 day, I got lots and lots of compliments on my new hair. I would suggest her to anyone who wants to make a big change on their look and are hesitant to try a new place. She is one of the best.
Momo Hair is my favourite/ #1 place to get my hair cut and coloured(balayage). Liz and her team are very friendly and talented. I am very picky with my hair colour and if I felt the colour was too light, they would fix it right away to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone and for sure always come back!

I went in for a cut and hair colour and it came out fantastic! Everyone worked on my hair- they were very friendly, offered me coffee/tea, would tell me what they would need to do with my hair to achieve the colour I wanted and explained the process before they started. Liz suggested see through bangs which I really loved. All in all, I would come here again to do my hair. 😀

It was my very first time trying balayage, so I was little scared. I showed a picture what I wanted, and Liz made it exactly same! My hair colour is beautiful! I can’t wait to go back and try different colour in few months. And I also purchased their treatment for home, and it works great. Well done Momo!

Service is outstanding. They take your coat and belongings and hang them for you, help you into robes, give you refreshments and snacks while you’re waiting. Very attentive and hard working. Love the crew here and the stylists do an amazing job. Have gotten many hair dyes from them and love the cuts. Liz is my one and only stylist.
I originally went here to get Japanese hair straightening. They examined my hair and decided to wait 3 months until henna in my hair faded away. So instead I decided to get my hair colored. They recommended hair manicure. I had always wanted to try it and was delighted. The whole experience was pleasant soothing. They really do have the best customer service. Vic and the other girls are just fabulous. They really do take their craft seriously and treat everyone with great kindness and respect. I will be going back there for Japanese hair straightening in 3 months time. The price is a tiny tad bit on the expensive side. I feel it is worth spending there. They deserve it.
Love this salon. The ladies are sweet and nice- they offer tea, coffee or water up in arrival. I’ve been here twice, once for a balayage session and another for just a hair cut. I had my hair done by Liz; I absolutely love her. She allows you to tell her what you want but she makes a lot of helpful suggestions and keeps it honest, whether it would look good or not so appealing. I would definitely go back- she mentions that the hair manicure is something to try.
Liz and her team are amazing. I basically went there to get my Japanese hair perm but ended up getting a hair colouring as well. The staff there are very friendly and engaging. Well I had no idea on what type of haircut and hair colour I wanted but Liz took care of everything and the result AWESOME. I had always been skeptical about going to the new salon but this one after reading through the reviews I decided to give it a try and it was worth giving it a try. I will surely go back. About the cost, it may be quite expensive but it’s all worth it because their service and work is outstanding. And thanks to Liz and her team for giving me the new look that I am loving it.
I may have found the prefect hair salon in Toronto after many years of trial and error. First off, Momo’s customer service was outstanding. My hair stylist Roye personally messaged me the day before to remind me about my appointment and to establish a connection. She also answered any questions I had. When I arrived Roye was very attentive. In fact, I felt the entire staff was very professional and warm. Second, their pricing is unbelievable. I got balayage done on my long black hair for approximately $300. This also included the cut, layering, wash, toning, and styling. Mind you my hair took on the dye and bleach well, so I didn’t need more sessions. Third, the quality of the haircut and balayage job was what I was most pleased with. Compared to other salons that would do a rushed job, at any given point at Momo I would have 3 ladies working on my hair and examining the quality. I especially loved how they also use high end products from a variety of brands like Schwarzkopf, L’Oréal, as well as Korean and Japanese products. It is now 1 week later and after 3 washes with purple shampoo, my hair still looks the same as when I left the salon.
Almost a year after my first visit, and I’m still extremely happy with my hair! They are always 100% honest when it comes to pricing and what results they will be able to achieve. Liz and all the other girls (and guys) are so sweet; I always enjoy coming here! I have never had better colour done in my life. No exaggeration! I’m going to be returning here over and over! I’m loyal. Always Worth every single penny!!
I am a regular customer since this place has been opened 2 years ago. I always get my hair cut and root touch up by Liz. I am amazed by her colouring skill as she matches my root to my natural hair colour so perfectly! I feel so relaxed when I get a shampoo massage service. I normally don’t get that long massage at the other place, but Momo’s shampoo service makes me have totally different experience. I think everyone deserves what they are paying for and this place is the one! Price is reasonable and staffs are always welcoming me with friendly smile. Can’t wait to visit again!!
